A relaxed and creative evening taking in the natural beauty of the Dee Estuary from Thurstaston.
Our venue, the Dee Sailing Club, is situated on top of the cliffs in Thurstaston and boasts beautiful views of the river Dee and across to North Wales- a lovely spot to watch the sunset.
If the weather allows, we will sit outside to paint. But the views are just as good from the club itself and the covered veranda. Table and chair provided.
You will be guided through some basic watercolour techniques and practice pieces, and then have time to apply what you have learned to a final painting (while watching the sun go down).
Of course- we cannot guarantee the weather or amount of cloud cover on the day.
All materials are provided.
No experience necessary; the session is about time for you to de-stress.
Tea/coffee, soft drinks and cake included
Relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Meet like minded people.
The session will be led by Christine Duncan, a local artist who also has several years experience as an NHS Occupational Therapist.
